Robert had a very good paddle today. 63 km done! It must have been the effect of last night's pizza!!! Robert ordered 8 bottles of water with his pizza, the woman who took the order on the phone asked him: "Are you ok, Sir????"... First job for the morning...

44.1 km done today. 1554 km to go... A very good day of paddling today... But no fish caught for supper. Diner will have to be pasta, AGAIN... Robert managed to see a turtle and a whale. The kayak has been floating much better thanks to the equipment...

Day 2 on the beach

As planned, Sunday was a day of "rest" on the beach... Saturday was a very hard paddle. As Robert arrived on the beach, a father and son were taking a stroll. They came to help him get the very heavy kayak on the beach and left... They came back later...

After a long trip of 1642 km (about 22 hours thanks to all the stop and gos on the way),Robert eventually made it to Durban last night. Thanks to Russell and Rina, he has had a good night’s sleep. He is now relaxing and enjoying his last “normal” day...
